My name is Alex Escalante, and I am the new 21st century after school site coordinator at Garrison Middle school. I was born and raised in Walla Walla. I have worked with High school, middle school and elementary school levels in the past. Before becoming the after school site coordinator, I was an intervention specialist with the Walla Walla school district for ten years. Being in this new role my goal is to help students gain confidence with other students and also someone they feel like they can reach out to whenever they might need help. Middle school can be the hardest time in a child's life and I create an environment where I want Kids to know that they all belong. MILLENNIALS CUP SOCCER
Millennials is an indoor soccer league open to all Garrison Middle School students. Year-in and year-out, nearly 100 students in this league. No equipment is required to participate other than athletic shoes.

VIDEOGRAPHY
Videography includes Garrison Network News (GNN) and Film-making club. During the GNN club, students work on creating a news broadcast viewed by all Garrison students once a week during morning announcements. In Film-making club students work on short films, from stop motion to live action.
STEM
STEM encompasses many different programs such as: Robotics, Coding, 3D Printing, and Mixed Reality Art. In all of these programs students actively work with the equipment to produce unique products and/or solve specific challenges.
ART CLUB
Once a week, students engage their creative mind experiencing and participating in a variety of different art projects. Mediums range from painting to drawing, clay sculpting to knitting.
